Interesting that when you fictionalize your experiences- they are more of a story and very strong and touching!
Some things, like what you and I have both experienced these past two weeks - are things I wish no one would ever have to experience. But people all over the world do experience it - even if in little ways. Like when my son lived in NYC for a while and I used to worry about him getting home safely after a night out clubbing.
It’s not the same, but every parent’s worry is a worry, every loss is a loss.
We’re all in the human game together - as Shakespeare aptly said, “All the world’s a stage…”

I was the 'son living in New York', and I constantly teased my mother. In Italian they say that life is a wheel that turns (La vita e' una ruota che gira), and now my sons tease me!
